    The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology, CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB), in conjunction with Shared Health; and, the Section of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Internal Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba (U of M), are seeking applications for a Geographical Full-Time position of Medical Oncologist.

    Qualifications: Candidates must have specialty qualifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology in the country of current practice and must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred. Applicants with alternative qualifications may also be considered though this may affect eligibility for a University appointment.

    Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services in conjunction with the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary invite applications for a full-time Medical Oncologist position (desired start date September 3, 2024). The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and the Foothills Hospital site of the Calgary Zone and will join a team of 29 Medical Oncologists.

    You must have an MD degree and Canadian specialist certification in Medical Oncology, or the equivalent. You must be eligible for licensure as a specialist by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and for appointment to the medical staff of AHS. Special training and/or a record of academic success in areas such as epidemiology, clinical trials, investigational new drug development, translational research and/or health services research would be desirable.

    The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Division of Medical Oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute (CCI), with Alberta Health Services is accepting applications for a full-time Hematologist/Medical Oncologist with expertise/training in management of lymphoma and myeloma.

    Qualifications include an MD, certification in Internal Medicine, special competency in Medical Oncology/ Hematology (or equivalent), additional specialized training and experience in Malignant Hematology and eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta.

    Candidates should have additional specialized training in the area of malignant lymphoid disease, as well as training and experience with cell therapy (BMT and CarT). Familiarity with early drug development/phase1 would be an asset.

    The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology of the Centre Intégré Universitaire de Santé et de Services Sociaux Ouest-de-l’île-de-Montréal (CIUSSS ODIM), a McGill University academic affiliate and the Department of Oncology of McGill University, invite applications for a position as Assistant or Associate Professor, full-time clinical academic track, in Oncology.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • The candidate must hold an MD degree and have completed sub-specialty training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and have completed additional training post-residency or have commensurate experience, in an academic environment.

    BC Cancer is looking for a full time or part time Medical Oncologist to join our experienced team of three Medical Oncologists and three FTE General Practitioners in Oncology at the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre in Vernon, British Columbia.  Vernon is a community of approximately 69,000 people, located in the Okanagan Valley near the Northern end of Lake Okanagan, and at the northern end of Kalamalka Lake.  Vernon’s McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre is a fully staffed outpatient clinic housed in the Interior Health Authority’s Vernon Jubilee Hospital, a 205 bed Regional hospital offering on-site Radiology, Pathology, Surgery and Pharmacy services.  The Cancer Centre is part of BC Cancer and Interior Health’s Community Oncology Network, and serves a number of local communities with a catchment area of approximately 100,000.  The Centre receives approximately 450 new consults and 7000 follow-ups a year, providing those patients a full range of outpatient IV and oral systemic therapies in a personalized practice environment.
